Book Title: The Complete Persepolis Book Author: Marjane Satrapi
Rating: 5 Star Rating Date Finished: 4/1/23
Book Review:

I read Persepolis in one sitting, could not put it down! This is a compelling and very moving story of one young woman’s personal experience living through the cultural revolution in Iran. The expressive and simple style of the illustrations soften some of the horror and brutality of the story, while still conveying the uncertainty, fear, and pain of living life under a repressive regime. Very powerful.
